HAVERHILL, MA –Circuit Board Express (CBE) is
adopting a "Get Back to Basics" Policy for this upcoming year. The Electronics’
Industry in the last five years has witnessed a dramatic change in the manner in
which printed circuit boards are procured and manufactured. CBE is one of the
few domestic survivors in this marketplace and over the past few years has
withstood all that these changes have represented. After 2 years of small, but
steady growth CBE is recommitting itself to the old and proven manufacturing
equation of "quality products + on-time delivery = Sales".
What most people do not realize is that one of the easiest and most
fundamental manners in which to increase sales is right under their nose. We
believe the simplest way to increase our sales for the upcoming future is to
focus on what we already know and that is our existing customer base. So we are
going to go back to the basics and concentrate on the following:
- Be better at what we do by improving our manufacturing processes
- Understanding our customers’ business and the marketplace they represent
- How we can better serve our existing customers by adding value-added
services
With a majority of the printed circuit board manufacturing being done outside
of the United States coupled with the high cost of adding salesman, this policy
is an efficient way to add to the bottom line with virtually no cost.

EQUIPMENT
- New Mania Barco U cam software
- New Barco Photo Plotter
- New fully operational lab/cross section area
- New Barco AOI I/L scan tester
- New Microcraft flying probe tester
- New Christopher packaging system with desiccant and humidity strips
SERVICES
- CBE is offering yield of 1 panel service to their customers who only
want a couple of circuits. Each panel is, as you need it. Whatever coating
you need, fully electrically tested, inspected and shipped. Please call our
sales team for pricing.
- CBE is offering a "Dock to Dock" Stocking Program. All you do is provide
us with your Part Number’s EAU and we will stock and ship what you need as
you need it.
- CBE is offering its process manager to you for all and any questions
that may arise regarding RoHS compliant products. Call and ask for our
Process manager and he will answer all your questions regarding RoHS and how
it affects your end product.
- CBE will package all boards with desiccant and humidity indicator strips
in quantities which the customer requests. The RoHS coatings have a limited
shelf life and the integrity of the printed circuit board could suffer if
not packaged correctly.
